How's Your Parabola?

Is your second toe longer than your big toe? Is the crease between your big toe and second toe deeper than the crease between your second and third toes? These are both signs that you have a longer second metatarsal or a “Morton’s foot.” Ideally the first, second and third metatarsals should all be about the same length.  When the second metatarsal is excessively long, this changes your mechanics and can cause overload on this area leading to foot problems and pain. If you are experiencing ball of the foot pain, make an appointment to come see us today!
